Before the trade

Know the lean before you take the trade.

The Sentiment Engine reads the institutional news flow around the clock, scores every article, and rolls it into one live read per market. You open the terminal and the homework is done.

Refreshes every 60 seconds. Included in the one Market Suite plan.
The composite read

One number per market, built from every headline that matters.

Not a vibe, not an analyst opinion: the weighted sum of every relevant article from the last two weeks, fresher news counting for more. Watch it work.

Live composite score
A single calibrated read per market, recomputed every cycle from the full two-week article window. The gauge tells you the lean and how strong it is.
Every article scored
Each headline gets an impact score from -1.0 to +1.0, a relevance confidence, and a one-line reason. You can open the feed and read exactly why the composite sits where it does.
Hourly summary, session briefings
A desk-style market summary refreshes as news lands, and a fresh briefing is written before each trading session opens: Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York.
14-day sentiment replay
Scrub back through two weeks of sentiment against price, bar by bar, and watch how the composite led, lagged or confirmed each move. It is the fastest way to learn what the signal is worth.

Every score shows its work.

Most sentiment products hand you a number and ask for faith. Ours publishes the method.

Step 1: score the article
Each incoming headline and snippet is scored for direction (impact from -1.0 to +1.0), relevance (confidence from 0 to 1), and a plain-English reason. Off-topic noise gets low confidence and is excluded, so it never dilutes the read.
Step 2: weight it honestly
Three weights decide how much an article counts: recency (a 24-hour half-life, so yesterday's shock fades as it should), relevance, and source tier.
composite = Σ(decay × confidence × tier × score) / Σ(decay × confidence × tier)
Step 3: trust sources unequally
A wire headline is not a blog post. Every source carries a fixed credibility tier that multiplies its weight in the composite.

Specialist financial press0.6–0.9×
Aggregators and long tail0.3–0.4×
Step 4: track who earns it
Source reliability is measured continuously against what price actually did, so you can see which outlets have been worth listening to lately.

News velocity

How fast headlines are landing and what they cluster around. Quiet tape and loud tape are different games.

Sentiment distribution

The full spread of scores behind the composite, so a market that genuinely agrees never gets confused with two loud camps cancelling out.

Size, risk and reward worked out beside the read, so your size matches the conviction the tape supports.

Live price, impact markers

Each market's chart with high-impact headlines pinned to the bars they landed on. Cause and effect on one screen.

Coverage

Three markets. Three separate engines.

Each market gets its own feeds, scoring criteria and reliability tracking, because what moves gold is not what moves the Nasdaq.
